Laura Marie Roberts is an actor, singer, and dancer born and raised in Shingle Springs, California. She started acting in musical theatre when she was 11 years old, and was so inspired by the art that she decided to pursue performing as her career. She recently earned her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre at Western Connecticut State University in the Spring of 2023.
Laura has taken multiple acting for the camera classes both at W.C.S.U. and at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City. Laura has worked on multiple short films over the past year with various directors, such as Jarika Johnson and Amy Omar. She has also worked on set for larger productions such as Netflix’s Mr. Harrigan’s Phone.
Throughout her college career, Laura performed as Jessica in Hand to God, Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Gwendoline in Ernest and the Pale Moon. She also performed in the ensemble and understudied Philoclea in the musical Head Over Heels, as well as, dance captained and assisted the choreographer in the musical Bat Boy.
Laura is excited to continue her career in film and television, as well as theatre.
